Savvy unveils nootropic

Beverage label Savvy has launched a nootropic-infused beverage range designed to optimise cognitive performance.

Nootropics are a group of ingredients that work to improve human thinking, learning and memory.

The beverage range is available in two variants: Savvy Coffee and Savvy Drink. Savvy Coffee comes in coffee pods and coffee powder, both with biodegradable compostable packaging.

Savvy Drink is a lightly sparkling beverage with zero sugar and is available in three flavours: lemon-lime, passion fruit, and mixed berry.

Both variants contain a blend of nootropics, including Ashwagandha, Rhodiola rosea, Lion's mane mushroom, L-Theanine, Panax ginseng, Creatine, Green tea extract, Natural caffeine, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12 and C.

Mark Curry, founder of Savvy Beverages and a former NSW Supreme Court lawyer, said he created the brand because – like many Aussies – he also faced work burnout.

"Savvy Beverages gives you more energy than coffee, but in a natural way and with added ingredients to improve resilience to stress and anxiety," said Curry.

He added that the beverage's blend of ingredients helps increase the length of stimulation, improve focus and mood, reduce anxiety and stress, and is made with natural ingredients and zero sugar.

"I believe that it's time for a healthy change, to make food and beverage healthier, to make labels cleaner, so people know what they’re having," he concluded.
